Quick Repair Kit Bandage Description
The quick repair kit bandage is a roll of fiberglass bandage impregnated with water-active resin. Just immerse the bandage in water for 10 seconds and then wrap it around the damaged pipe area. The pipeline can be successfully repaired within 15 minutes.
Quick Repair Kit Bandage Applications
1. Steel and aluminum plants: Steam and water pipes, sludge and slurry pipes
2. Powder fuel pipe, cooling water pipe.
3. Manufacturing: Seal oil, water and coolant pipeline leaks.
4. Pipe porosity: Reinforce and seal porous pipes caused by internal corrosion or cracks.
5. Emergency maintenance of fuel pipelines and water pipes at docks or at sea
6. Sewage pipe. It is also used for repairing ship structures.
7. Household use: Repairing glass, PVC, metal pipes, reinforcing garden tools, and handles of household appliances
How To Use
Supplied gloves must be worn.
Clean the surface of the pipe to be wrapped.
Knead steel putty until a uniform grey colour is achieved. While malleable, apply to damaged surface, allowing 2-5 minutes to harden before applying bandage.
Activate the bandage by soaking in water for 10 seconds, squeezing 2-3 times for complete saturation.
Wrap the bandage around the pipe using the entire length, multiple bandages may be required.
Mould and press the bandage to enhance adhesion and strength.Bandage will set in 3-5 minutes, ready for use in 20 minutes.
Quick Repair Kit Bandage Storage
1: Avoid deliberately squeezing or pressing bandage whilst in foil pouch.
2: Store in a cool, dry and well ventilated area.
3:Avoid high temperatures, store in an area preferably below 30°C.
