Our silicon nitride radiant tubes can operate stably for a long time at temperatures of 1300°C or even higher, far exceeding the limit of metal tubes (typically <1150°C). Even in the extremely high-temperature zone of the aluminum smelting furnace, it can maintain a stable shape, never bend or sag, ensure a uniform thermal field, and extend the service life of the furnace lining.

Unparalleled corrosion resistance

Silicon nitride has excellent chemical inertness to molten aluminum, aluminum vapor, various alloying elements (including high-magnesium alloys), as well as molten salts and slag. It does not suffer from corrosion, oxidation or carburization like metal pipes, fundamentally eliminating the problem of oxide scale peeling and contaminating the molten aluminum. This means: significantly reducing oxidation burn loss (melting loss) and increasing your metal yield! At the same time, it also ensures the purity of the melt and improves the quality of the castings.

Extraordinary thermal shock resistance

Silicon nitride has an astonishing ability to resist sudden temperature changes. Even in the event of an unexpected power outage or emergency furnace shutdown, the molten aluminum solidifies inside the tubes and will not cause the tubes to burst! Just reheat the molten aluminum and the tube can be safely put back into use. This significantly reduces the risk of losses caused by unexpected furnace shutdowns and enhances the reliability and safety of the equipment."

Longer service life

Taking into account its advantages of high-temperature resistance, creep resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance, the service life of silicon nitride radiant tubes is usually 3 to 5 times or even longer than that of high-performance metal alloy tubes. This means: fewer downtime replacements, lower spare parts procurement costs, less labor maintenance investment, and a significant reduction in the total cost of ownership (TCO)!

Higher thermal efficiency and temperature uniformity

Silicon nitride material has moderate thermal conductivity and can form a more uniform temperature field on the pipe wall. Its surface is smooth and dense, not easy to form slag or carbon deposits, and the thermal radiation efficiency decays very little after long-term use. Combined with an optimized design, it helps to enhance the uniformity of furnace temperature, achieve more precise smelting and heat preservation control, and reduce energy consumption.
