Silicon nitride (Si₃N₄) nozzle are high-performance ceramic nozzles that perform exceptionally well in high-temperature, high-wear and corrosive environments due to their unique material properties.
The characteristics of silicon nitride
1: High hardness and wear resistance: Its hardness is second only to that of diamond and cubic boron nitride, making it suitable for long-term resistance to particle erosion (such as sandblasting and powder conveying).
2: Outstanding high-temperature stability: It can maintain performance above 1200°C without softening or deformation, and is suitable for high-temperature flame spraying or burners.
3: Thermal shock resistance: It is not prone to cracking under rapid temperature changes (such as sudden cooling from high temperatures).
4: Chemical inertness: Resistant to acid, alkali and molten metal corrosion, suitable for chemical or semiconductor etching processes.
Low density: Lighter in weight than metal nozzles, reducing equipment load.
Manufacturing process: Air pressure Sintering (GPSN) : It has the best comprehensive performance, can produce complex shapes, but has a relatively high cost.
